Request regarding the use of mobile batteries

Cases of mobile batteries overheating and catching fire have been reported both in Japan and overseas.
To ensure the safety and security of all our guests, we ask for your cooperation regarding the use of mobile batteries in guest rooms as follows:

1. When you leave your room, please be sure to unplug the mobile battery from the outlet.
2. If you are using a mobile battery to charge portable electronic devices or if you are using the power outlet in your guest room to charge your mobile battery, please refrain from using it in the following locations.
   - Places exposed to direct sunlight, such as near a window
   - On flammable materials such as beds, sheets, and curtains
3. Please use the device in a location where you can always check the status while charging.
4. Do not use a mobile battery that is damaged, swollen, or generating abnormal heat.

If the above situation is discovered during room cleaning during your stay, staff may remove the mobile battery from the outlet and move it to another location to ensure safety.
