Osaka Prefecture's accommodation tax will change from Monday, September 2025, 9.
This will apply to stays from Monday, September 2025, 9, regardless of the date of the accommodation contract or payment of the accommodation fee.
Before revision [until Sunday, August 2025, 8]
Accommodation fee (per person per night) 1 yen or more and less than 1 yen: 7,000 yen
Accommodation fee (per person per night) 1 yen or more and less than 1 yen: 15,000 yen
Accommodation fee (per person per night) 1 yen or more: 1 yen
After revision [From Monday, September 2025, 9]
Accommodation fee (per person per night) 1 yen or more and less than 1 yen: 5,000 yen
Accommodation fee (per person per night) 1 yen or more and less than 1 yen: 15,000 yen
Accommodation fee (per person per night) 1 yen or more: 1 yen
